<p>Yeah, it’s definitely weird. </p>
<p>Like I said, I’m graduating this semester. I only filled out a FAFSA for grad school way early because one of the programs I was interested in recommended doing it- and since I had applied to FSU for grad school, I added them to save myself the hassle in case I needed to later. </p>
<p>I know it says it’s preliminary and everything, but it just makes no sense. Their system shouldn’t award things you aren’t going to qualify for (for example, no matter what, I don’t get Bright Futures after this semester, so why would they even offer it? I’m also not eligible for Stafford Loans after this semester either, so why would they offer several thousand dollars worth?). Seriously, my entire financial aid offering for next year- nearly $16k- is stuff I’m not eligible for anyway. That’s a major issue in my eyes. </p>
<p>I can’t tell whether it’s the myFSU system being screwy, or whether the people in Financial Aid just don’t know what they are doing right now. It’s funny how they say that your financial information won’t be available till July, but everything is in there for me if you look…</p>
