It does work, you just need to activate your FSUID. I’ll try to give you a step-by-step process on what I did and hopefully it helps you:

1.First click on the link to activate your FSUID, which was sent through the email. Here is the link just in case you need it

https://apps.oti.fsu.edu/CreateFSUID/Activation.html

2.In order to activate your ID you need your EMPLID, but chances are you don’t know it because I hadn’t seen mine until I was trying to activate my FSUID.

If by some chance you do know it, just complete all of the fields, if not click on where it says “for help with EMPLID and FSUID account management.”

On the section that says “Creating An FSUID Requires Your EMPLID,” go down to where it says “current student” and click on “EMPLID lookup toolkit.”

5.type in your email that you used when applying to fsu and you should get you EMPLID

6.Now that you have your EMPLID, type it in to the FSUID activation page and fill out the rest of the fields.Once you submit it, your FSUID should be activated and you will need to set up a password. This will be your new method of signing in to fsu accounts, you no longer will use your email that you used when applying.

You can now log on to your fsu account with your new ID and password and you should be able to check you financial aid award.
