for one of my homework
I have to find a problem that has been either calculus helps answers the problem or how calculus is leading toward a solution or makes it easier than prior techniques to solve the problem…
I have been searching the internet but had no luck
any suggestions?

Since most of you are in high school, perhaps some of you are in college, you should be aware of the fact that 99% of what you learn in college will never be used when you leave. Subjects such as history, philosophy, economics etc. are taught so that when you leave you are able to think and make informed decisions about the world around you. Most of what you need to survive is never taught in school - example - making financial decisions (not covered in any economics course). At least calculus is actually applied to solve problems encountered in many technical fields. By the way, in the past and for the near term future, this is where the job growth is.

one could also argue that calculus is the very fundemental description of our entire world/interactions. Calculus’ was originally ‘invented’ by Newton in Principia as new math to use in physics. Because physics is essentially used to describe worldy events it would be logical to say in a proper syllogism that calculus is, at the most fundamental level, responsible. Also, calculus is used to described interactions between organisms (see: game theory)
