<p>I would try contacting some columbia professors. I attended a science symposium there earlier this year for high schoolers and talk to one of the admission directors who suggested I do the same if I cannot find other programs. Other colleges in NYC are probably the same. Just find a researcher doing something that interests you and email them. Make sure to say what about their research interests you.</p>
