<p>When we looked at summer programs a couple years ago there were a number of options in the general area. Cornell, Brown and Northeastern all had good summer programs but I have no idea of their respective deadlines. They are all relatively expensive.</p>
<p>My D chose the Summer Scholars Program at Furman University in South Carolina and loved it. It has 2 sessions of one week programs and many students take a different program for each week. Their offerings are diverse but a little more limited than the others. It was a great value and she enjoyed the experience. That is an option if you want to go outside the region.</p>
