@MitchIsTheMan97 are you out of state for OSU?
Yes. I received the National Buckeye Scholarship and hopefully will receive the Morill Prominence Scholarship
Ah. OSU is very generous to OOS. Instate? Not so much. Congrats.
Thanks! And hey it could be worse. You could have UIUC as your state flagship; they give little to no aid to instate and costs $15k+ in tuition!
My youngest son last year:
91/100 UW (public schoolâŠjust out of top 10%, school doesnât rank but does bar graph on school profile) through junior yearâŠslightly higher in senior year (so i guess around a 3.6-3.7?..all Bs & B+ in math thru AP calculus) 6 APs + honors classes

Deferred ED & later withdrew from Brown
Withdrew his apps from Emory, jhu, Penn, nyu
Rejected: none
He applied to so many schools bc he was afraid his lopsided gpa & sat scores would tank him. I think he was successful bc he wrote a very strong application and his ECs, scores, & national/regional awards supported his intended majors in English & history.
Since decisions are coming out right about now, I figured Iâd bump this.

Oh well, I think I have some good options and so does anyone within this grade range. Currently between Syracuse, Umass and America as of right now but I still have to do some visits.
3.4 + 2250 SAT

Not sure if I missed something, I went through about 10 pages of this discussion, did anyone in this range end up at Kenyon or Denison?
@andersonw not a parent but naviance from my school has average accepted gpa to kenyon of ~3.45 and lowest accepted of 3.13!
@andersonw, post #674. Son admitted ED to Kenyon after a gap year.
