Where do you buy furniture?

Yes, it’s this one.

Look up sactional. (Yes that it how it’s spelled)

DD has two friends who have these and love them. I think they are a bit pricey. She will also look at local furniture stores.

I’ve been in a Lovesac store and their stuff is really comfy. The covers come off and are washable. I think it’s pricey but appears to be good quality.

@compmom - yes, the off-gassing (or whatever it’s called) of the new furnishings is horrible. My tongue goes numb, my eyes water and almost immediately I can feel my throat getting scratchy and feels like it’s closing up (like an intense allergy attack).

I’d second the furniture consignment shops, looking for quality items. I was relieved last summer when my d was furnishing her first apartment that she was only interested in vintage. She got some lovely pieces that are sure to last a very long time.

The Love Sac stuff is expensive! Don’t think D is going to want to go that route.

Does anyone else think that “Love Sac” is an odd choice for a company name? We went by one of these stores in a mall once and DS just about spit his coffee clear to the food court. Really? I’ll never forget that reaction or the look on his young face… When I finally understood, I was mortified. Sorry, I can’t take that company seriously. It should go on the list of companies that should be considering brand renaming for oh so many reasons, IMO.

The name may well appeal to their target market (which I doubt is the parents of adult children).

If coffee-spitting is the intended effect, they hit a home run. DS just bought a sectional from Macy’s. Pretty sure he gave LS a wide berth.

@ChoatieMom my kid is pretty picky. Those sectionals are very nice, she says.

I’m sure they are. Just can’t get over the name. Just my issue. Carry on everyone.
