This is ridiculous, first off,
paulhomework- You are full of crap, “Stanford is ranked top 10 in almost every department in US News rankings, and mostly top 5. Not even Harvard comes close to that.” Overall, Stanford does not do significantly better Havard, Princeton, Yale or MIT, this statement is just absurd.
“Stanford’s weather is far superior to that of any Ivy-Leage school”- This doesn’t make it a better school in any regard, just a nice place to be.
“Stanford’s athletics is one of the best in the nation, while Ivy-League athletics is a joke.” - Stanford doesn’t have strict recruiting rules, which in my opinion detracts from the intellectual vibrancy of the school. Princeton/Penn basketball, Harvard/Princeton/Yale Soccer, Princeton Lacrosse, Harvard/Princeton/Yale squash and Harvard/Yale/Princeton crew all have national success. Keep in mind that before the ivy league had academic regulations for recruiting, the big three were also football powerhouses.
Tsunami- I can see that you too are also full of crap, saying that Stanford is worse than any ivy. You can argue that HYP are better but to honestly believe Penn, Cornell, Dartmouth or Brown are better is completely unfounded. You say Stanford comp sci is a bit better than dartmouths? Its more like Stanford comp sci is as good, if not better than the programs at MIT, Princeton or Cornell. Stanford’s engineering is also far superior to most of the ivy programs save for Princeton/Cornell. It is impossible to compare engineering at Harvard and Yale to Stanford.
Lets just get this straight, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford and MIT are all on the same level, choosing between them is really a matter of personal preference. To say that Yale is for Harvard rejects or Stanford is for Princeton rejects is not only ridiculous but just plain wrong.
bump…

I think it’s bogus and Georgia’s count is going up because it’s actually the same person just with different usernames.
