There is only one store in our city that we actually can furniture shop. It is Value City Furniture. I do not like furniture at any other store at our location and we actually have bought furniture for our D. when she moved to her next location. We like more modern styles though. We do not like any other stores and the prices everywhere else are outrageous.
I was just in great need of a queen bed for a guest room, looked CL and ended up buying new. After reading this thread, no wonder the wood was so cheap! Good furniture stores sometimes have a back room with markdowns. Normally a fan of CL, I got tired of looking for help to move things, and bought new for the sake of the free delivery and set up.
