Where to go: Oberlin, Wesleyan, or Brandeis?

Studiomom, there are student-run musical theatre productions at Wesleyan. In fact, “In the Heights” was written and directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda while he was a student at Wes and just went on to win a bunch of Tony awards on Broadway.

Brandeis also has a lively musical theatre scene, but it is all student-run. If Oberlin has an actual musical theatre program, with faculty-directed productions, it is the only one of these three schools where that is the case.
