I agree about Khan Toke Thai…

Great food…very reasonable prices… I think it is around Geary Blvd and 23rd ave. in the Richmond district.

Another thought…leave the car parked at the hotel, and hop around the city by cable car or cab. Parking is a pain in SF…bottom line. And costly, so your cab fare to dinner may be the best $ you spend!

Have fun…weather has been spectacular! But I did spend many a day on soccer fields closer to the ocean…so definitely bring a big coat for your golf days!

I was driving around the city at 5:30 last night…(Friday).

Traffic was pretty bad…Especially on the Embarcadero…

At 7:30… Very little traffic.

I ate at the Boulevard. Work related. I don’t get the appeal of that place. Limited menu. Expensive. Solid food…but…I just don’t get it…

Yes,traffic was terrible last night, dstark! Was in the same area! I am sitting on the 40th floor of the Hilton Union Square. Spectacular view. The subway construction made things on the road a bit of a challenge last night but aside from the $47/night parking at the hotel  everything is superb.

^you get what you pay for and in that case, $$ for parking affords you a great location in the city! I wouldn’t normally balk at the idea of staying in the city but if weren’t for my car…

Thanks for the traffic and weather reports!

I think I’m getting distracted. My shopping and dining list is growing and I must remind myself I’m going there to watch my kid play golf! There will be little time to do everything.

Wish her luck because if she advances, I get to return the next weekend! ;)

Good luck to your dd, lilmom! Weather is spectacular again today.

$47 a night for parking…ouch…

Jym626… I am glad to see you are enjoying the city…

Lilmom…good luck to your daughter…and you…
