Where to stay Jersey shore?

If she goes to Wildwood I would stay in the Crest and then drive to the Boardwalk.
Is she over 21? Does she want to go to bars/clubs? If so, then she should stay in Wildwood so she and her friends could walk to the bars/clubs.
If she’s not and they want to do the Boardwalk each night, they might want to stay in WW because the price for parking some nights is probably $20. (I haven’t been in a few years, but the last we went during the week it was $10-$15)
I think it all depends on how much nightlife they are looking for.
I agree that since most places want 3 nights, she might have to wait until it’s closer and call then. One year my friend and her family went down, they went from place to place looking for a cancellation. They ended up not being on the beach, but were still able to get a nice 2 room efficiency 1 block up.

parentofpeople- you are right, I misunderstood the original post. Atlantic City is a lot of fun for many 21 year olds!!!

Please clarify if she is under or over 21. There are many places that will not rent to under 21. The min stay requirements may vary. If she can stay midweek, they may be more likely to book for only 2 nights.

On LB, I would look in Beach Haven. There is no boardwalk, but there is live professionaly theater at the Surflight Theater, there is a nice shopping, restaurant district. If she is under 21, the Ketch has under 21 nights on Sun and Tues with live bands or DJ’s. Wildwood has a good boardwalk and lots of older teens, young adults, bars. The beach there is free, but soooooo wide that some people really don’t like lugging everything to get close to the water. Stone Harbor is very family oriented, but close enough to WW or Cape May for a day trip.

I agree with southjerseychessmom…please do not encourage your daughter to go to Atlantic City…it is just straight up not safe . I have businesses in both Ocean City and Sea Isle and it really does depend on her age and what type of environment she is looking for . Sea Isle is known for it’s bars and although there is some element of family friendliness , it’s not a place I would really want my daughters hanging out ( not quite Seaside , but still a bit much ) Wildwood Crest or N Wildwood are nice with a lottttt of beach , but Wildwood itself is a bit sketchy. The best part of the boardwalk is hands down , the Morey’s Amusement parks. Feel free to pm me if you have specific questions because it is where I live, work and in tourism industry :)

^^^ great advice lje62
