The list I have decided on (hopefully final) in no particular order:
University of Michigan
Michigan State University
Brown University
Cornell University
New York University (already applied, probably shouldn’t have but oh well)
Harvard University
Stanford University
Columbia University
Vanderbilt University
University of Pennsylvania
I’m not usually a grave digger of threads, but I thought this one could be an exception.
I wish to thank all the posters in this thread, particularly @Hanna , for their support and guidance through my transfer application process and for assisting me in finding suitable transfer options.
I was accepted to Stanford University from Community College Wednesday evening.
Coming from a “meh” public high school as I called it, with a 3.262 GPA and a 28 ACT, and going to community college, staying near home for the rest of my life was to be expected. Good job, get a wife, have 2.4 kids, yada yada… allow me to be living proof - community college can change lives.
Thank you all again for your help, and Go Cardinal!
Congratulations - thanks for returning to share your story and I am so happy for you. These kinds of success stories need to be shared and I’m so impressed! Totally made me tear up reading it…you should be so proud of everything you’ve accomplished!
