That makes me feel better because I was pretty convinced I had looked up earlier ears at some point and come to that conclusion. Only out of curiosity, mind you. EA schools did not make the cut for various (thoughtful) reasons, but not a fun place to be sitting at right now.

My kids both were accepted to rolling admissions schools and heard back in Oct. That was very helpful for the nerves.

Unfortunately, we did have to wait for the financial aid letters. That was hard.

I thought that often QB students still had to pay their EFC, of course many of the finalists have zero or near zero EFCs.

QB match Scholarship is full ride. From their website:

The Match Scholarship is offered as part of a generous financial aid package provided by the college that covers the cost of attendance, including:

• Tuition and fees
• Room and board
• Books and supplies
• Travel expenses .

You may be thinking of Posse Scholarships which cover only tuition.

Thanks, you are correct. I was thinking of the unmatched finalists who are accepted in RD rounds who have to pay their EFC/CSS Profile contribution, my bad.
