Which athletes are signing at your school?

Saw a recent post, student-athletes signing next week
4 for football,
3 for womens soccer
one for womens track

school list included 2 ivies, 2 large state flagships, several smaller Us, and LACs

2 female OW rowers: one to Brown, one to USC

Yay! Both great rowing schools! Both top 10 women’s rowing schools I believe. Very cool! And both excellent academic schools!

It’s a big public school in California. The tennis player is top 1 in Cali. The waterpolo player is Olympic level. The baseball player has potential but got a 35 on the act.

The tennis guy got offers from harvard, penn, Yale, columbia, cal, Cornell, and dartmouth.

We have quite a few signings.
Girls lax- 2
boys lax- 2 or 3 (not sure) (one was signed to a top 10 ranked team)
boys swimming- 1
girls track- 2 (1 to harvard)
Girls swimming- 1
girls soccer- 1
football- 1
softball- 2
My school is a track and field powerhouse, so i’m pretty sure there are going to be more people signing.

We have a Cornell basketball, a Brown crew, a Brown Basketball, a Yale Field Hockey, 3 Harvard Lax and 2 Georgetown tennis

Yale, amherst, upenn, duke , Stanford, georgetown, Emory, Williams, Notre dame, UVA and a bunch more haven’t decided.

We have one for track/XC to U of Utah :D

The recruited athletes at my D’s large southern california public HS set up a facebook page where recruited athletes from the current senior class posted their schools. The local sports museum also held a signing day event attending by area kids, their parents, and local news media. School did nothing. The Facebook page was wonderful to behold, about 40 boys/girls (class of 750) are playing sports in college, including many of the IVY’s.

recent commits

2 for baseball
1 for mens basketball
1 for womens cc/track

when a student signs a national letter of intent, the put their picture in the local paper.
recently, we’ve had a verbal to duke, and singings to bc, richmond, brown, johns hopkins, holy cross, temple, rutgers

Our HS had 22 signees this past LOI signing day.
The school does an amazing job honoring the athletes and their accomplishments.

We recently had a few baseball and a couple of golf commitments.
This time last year there were also several swimming commitments so I expect we will hear about them soon. There is a rumor that there are 2 rowing commitments (verbals) though neither has the LL from the school yet.

At Grandson’s high school so far:

2 to Brown (Football)
1 to Amherst (Football)
1 to Texas (Diving)
1 to Columbia (H/W rowing)
1 to Williams (X-country skiing)

At my school a guy got offers from Harvard, Yale, UCLA, and Vanderbilt for football and track.
