<p>At West Point the plebes generally stay in the same company as Beast, when the academic year starts. The exceptions are the corps squad (varsity) athletes that get moved to to other companies in order to balance them out throughout the corps. For my daughter’s class (2009) they will remain in the same company all 4 years but that will inevitably change from year to year as it has in the past. She was in one company during Beast but was scrambled to another one because she was a cross country runner. She has remained in the same company since.</p>
