<p>As a fellow biological science major I would recommend u take a math class, a chem class and your core class. And u would receive all the GEs credits listed for that particular class. As for the balance between GE and major requirements what I did was I took 2 major requirements courses a quarter (math and chem freshman year, biology and chem sophomore) and one GE until I completed it all. This was after completing the core class and writing 2 of course</p>
