Which courses to take for a UC math transfer?

In order of priority:

  1. Base requirements for transfer: http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/transfer/preparing-admission/minimum-requirements/index.html and any campus or division-specific base requirements (listed on ASSIST and/or campus web sites).
  2. Major preparation (listed on ASSIST).
  3. IGETC or campus-specific general education requirements (there may be some general education courses required if you do not have IGETC, and IGETC is nice to have in most cases, but not required in most cases). Note that some of the above courses, if chosen carefully, will also fulfill IGETC or campus-specific general education categories.
