Which is better: AP Bio or MV calc?

MV calc should be an easy A for anyone with some math aptitude. It’s only difficult for people who are used to only memorizing and have no experience in trying to actually understand the math.

The only hard part of a typical collegiate MV calc course is the ending section covering Green and Stoke’s theorems, but that’s only if you want to actually understand the theories and proof.

To be fair, if you never properly learned to think in R3 then you’ll have difficulty with surface integrals. Not to mention the definition (physics meaning) of curl and divergence, which can also be a pain to think about in R3.
