Which is harder to get into: NYU Stern or USC Marshall?

Haha, we something in common. I’m a double legacy too, though my parents are GSAS graduates. And since NYU basically admits that it gives advantages to legacies (on their FAQ somewhere, they answer “maybe” to the question, haha), I think you have a good shot. Besides, your SATs are good, and if your school is competitive, they’ll take that into consideration. Your recommendation letter sounds impressive, by the way. Yeah, the whole internship thing is much more impressive than my app (I’ve done nothing business oriented), and I got in, so I think you’ll be fine. :)

If you still have doubts, take a look at this:

https://www.collegedata.com/cs/admissions/admissions_tracker_result.jhtml?method=submit&previousPageSection=page_admissions_tracker

I’m not sure if you have to register for the site or not to see it, but it’s free, so no harm in doing so. It’s a list of stats for NYU applicants this year.

ETA: Um, for some reason, the site leads to a Columbia stats page. Okay, go to www.collegedata.com, then to admissions tracker, and then put in NYU.
