<p>I think asking for two academic recommendations is fairly common, not anything peculiar to Yale. </p>
<p>I’ve heard of homeschoolers at every Ivy, so I don’t know if there is a homeschooler-friendliest one. The fate of one’s application depends on more than that. For instance, my daughter got into Brown but not Penn, but I’ve heard from someone whose daughter had the reverse experience.</p>
