<p>brooklyndad, JHU is not really as well known for engineering, but it usually is #1, or 2 in biomedical engineering, whereas RPI , from my recollection, is known for its engineering, so this is not really a revelation to me. My guess, though is that JHU will jump another spot in the USNWR rankings, because its acceptance rate dipped to just above 20 %, compared to 25% for NU , which is ranked ahead, although that is certainly not the only metric. JHU’s desirability has also risen in these tough economic times.</p>
