My guess, though is that JHU will jump another spot in the USNWR rankings, because its acceptance rate dipped to just above 20 %, compared to 25% for NU , which is ranked ahead, although that is certainly not the only metric.

Although you’ve already noted the fact that acceptance rate is not the only metric, you should also remember that several schools below Northwestern boast lower acceptance rates.

JHU’s desirability has also risen in these tough economic times.

Hasn’t every T20 school become more desirable?</p>
