@tk21769 I’ll definitely have to determine and prioritize which schools I can afford once I talk to my parents about income figures and how much they can and will contribute to college. Thanks for the exact figures!
Delaware’s best known merit scholarship is the duPont full ride one (you can guess by the name why chemical engineering is big there). Of course, not all students who get merit scholarships there get the duPont one.
Approximately how many of these merit scholarships are distributed per year, and is there a preference for National Merit Finalists?

Apparently, 30 were offered per year as of 2012 (for a class of ~3800 first time full time freshmen).
