me neither. really disappointing. i would appreciate just being flat out rejected at the same time as the acceptances if they know they don’t want me. i get holding waitlist notifications to the end but why rejections?
no email yet either but my status hasn’t changed yet from “under review”

do you guys think all acceptances go out today or in waves? could it be possible that people can get accepted next week?
I called Wednesday afternoon and was told notifications were being sent out this week, so I’m not sure why even if we were rejected why we have not received an email by 9 pm Friday

There is usually a waitlist, but I would agree that we are almost certainly out of consideration, sadly.

ok but in all honestly why have only 2 people spoken up and no one has even talked about receiving a background check? considering the number of ppl in a summer thread, im surprised
@marissa456 I agree it does seem a little strange. However, there are maybe 15 people on this thread. 500-1000 apply, and only 100 are selected. The responses are proportionate.
I think abstaining from making a conclusion one way or the other is still wise. Yes, there could be a waitlist. Yes, they could be staggering acceptances. Yes, we could be rejected. All remains to be heard!
Don’t lose hope everyone! As this is an incredibly competitive process, these things tend to be so subjective in their ultimate results. Which means it has no bearing on anyone’s worthiness. Keep chasing your dreams, be at the WHIP or elsewhere!
