I emailed them last week and they got back to me today saying that we will hear back no later than Friday.
That’s what they said when I called them last week. Frankly I think they’re just repeating the same bs response and I don’t believe them lol
They answered my email from last week that they will notify us by this Friday.
I have a feeling that it may roll over to the next week due to the rise in concern for the Covid-19. It is on the rise and the country/the world is freaking out.
but it just doesn’t make sense to me that some people found out their responses already… wouldnt it make more sense to release all of them at once?

those people that said they got an email, i believe them but they never said if it was a contingent acceptance. no one has mentioned a background check yet and there would have been at least SOMEONE here who got waitlisted if we were all rejected. i believe it’s to do with the virus and they have to just give a standard response even if they don’t mean it.
I called yesterday and was told we would hear by the end of the day yesterday or by the end of the day tomorrow.

I might reapply but I dont know what else I could do differently. I would really like to know what type of experience the people who did get accepted have.
SWIM told me that people who receive acceptance letters are not allowed to “post about your prospective internship on any public forums or on social media, to include online blogs, websites, social networking sites”… less your internship be terminated…

Alright, I’m kinda new to this and found out this internship thing existed about 10 minutes ago and I just read through this forum and did some research on it. Still kinda confused tho, would anyone mind explaning to me what this thing exactly is, what you gain from it, and whether or not its beneficial to me if I want to go medical path and major in like bio or something. It seems like its really competitve
