Who are the recruited athletes?

<p>My S is a freshman at Bowdoin, not a recruited athlete, but he did apply ED last year. I know when he was admitted and joined the FB group of admitted students, he felt like many, if not most, seemed to be recruited athletes. He sings, and I teased him they admitted him because Bowdoin needed SOMEBODY to sing the National Anthem at all the athletic events!</p>

<p>I also recall a year ago a post of a recruited athlete who was told by a coach to apply ED1, but applied instead to Pomona for ED1, was rejected, and was concerned about his chances for ED2. I have no idea how it turned out, though:</p>
