I got accepted into Tisch Early Decision, and recently my precalc grade tanked to like a D. This is mostly my fault. My other grades have stayed the same (3 A’s 1 A-, 1 B) but I’m rather worried about my math grade screwing me when it comes to final transcript time. Midterms are coming up, and I’m working to catch up but I’m not super optimistic about my doing so well.

The good news is that I’m in based on talent, not academics - last year I only had like a 3.3 GPA and a C in math. However, I want to call NYU and talk to them about my grade and make sure it’s not going to come back to haunt me, as well as talk about the possibility of dropping math, considering it has literally zero pertinence to my career path. I can’t really figure out who/where to call about this though. Could anybody point me in the right direction?
