I’m pretty positive that no one else from my school applied to Penn ED this year either

^^ sike… Wharton… enough said

out of a class of ~400, 20ish applied penn ed lol

Impressive dedication. Do all those people actually want to go to Penn or are they just applying for name-sake?

WOW, 20? how many get in every year usually?

its higher this year. usually its 30 rd+ed and 5ish get in, mostly all from ED

the AEM essay is just the supplement for cornell right? I interpreted the prompt as what made me want to do business and I already have an idea what I’m going to write about. Although I can’t find the motivation to start until after I get my penn decision.

I started my Columbia Supplement yesterday but still have two questions to answer

I was planning on getting 4 RD apps done this weekend…JOKEEE

essays take a lot of thinking if you start from scratch…the cornell one about the evolution of academic approach or whatever is making my head hurt

@xAlex452 yeah the supplement essay. I did AEM primary and Econ major in the CAS secondary… I have an idea but I always have a problem with starting things. My great-great-grandfather came over and studied at Cornell from Japan and went back and started one of the first milk businesses near Tokyo and I think I need to work that into my essay lol

20-30 people ED? What the heck!? I’m the only person from my school and traditionally we send 20ish kids to the Ivies…

I’m applying to penn cuz of everything it represents and all things associated with it. It has such a postitive vibe of happiness for me. That’s why I don’t care about the post count, we are more than just numbers (how many times have people told you that? :P), but we post for the love of penn.
Sad things is, everyone who applied penn last year got rejected from my school…But looking at the data, they accept 1/2 people every other year from my school. 4 people applied early to penn at my school…
My school is pretty intense too for a public school, last year this is how people matriculated: 1 to MIT, 4 to Yale, 1 to Harvard, 4 to Stanford, 1 to Columbia, 1 Brown, 1 Northwestern and etc

@sweetcookie My secondary essay to the CAS I related something I did as a kid and then talked about how I kinda forgot about it in middle school and then It came back up in one of my classes (economics) and since then I have fallen in love with the subject and how it challenges me… If that helps at all?

@pennpenn16 - i’m seriously depressed at the thought that it’s highly likely that i’ll have to answer this essay topic.

@sweetcookie I’m in the same boat… Applications already submitted to BC, Vanderbilt, and Clemson. I have finished my UVA app and I am halfway done with my Cornell app.

I can’t bring myself to do any more supplements. Please Penn, please let me in.

@laodicean
I KNOW RIGHT? I’m dying here right now with this less than one week countdown. I wish that everybody on this thread would get in… SIGH
Argh, these five supplements will kill me…

Everyone on this thread deserves it. I can tell by the passion in their words. Penn cannot deny the fiery gusto in our hearts.

I have a countdown going on Facebook and everyone keeps commenting asking what it’s for. I just reply, “next Friday, of course!”

…Wait, it’s THIS Friday as of today. Oh. My. God.

31 more posts guys :)

I have a calc and Micro test that I need A’s on tmrw but I can’t focus on anything today lol… ughhh

In other words, when it comes to Penn, you guys are anything but laodicean. ;)
