Who's applying ED to Penn?

wow that’s pretty cool, any other phrases or words that works for?

Just looked at RD supplements for the first time. If necessary, I’ll apply to Vanderbilt, Emory, Cornell, Northwestern, and UNC. Lucked out that Vandy has no supplemental essay. I applied to UVA early action and I already got into 2 safeties (Pitt and Penn St) and Tulane. I don’t know how this happened, but Tulane offered me a 27K annual merit scholarship and admission into their honors program. I didn’t even think a school as good as Tulane would have an Honors Program.

BTW, also watching football.

Hi everyone! Just joining and I’m glad to see there are so many people out there in the exact same position I’m in. :/

I applied to the new VIPER program and SEAS as a backup. Does anyone know someone who applied to VIPER as well? I haven’t heard much about other people applying but maybe because the program is so new…

I have to read 4 chapters of Crime and Punishment for Lit quiz tomorrow…
Then I need to figure out moment of inertia for physics. Then study for econ final, gov project. And if I have time, practice some dark hammers.

So if the admissions committee does really finalize its decisions 3-4 days prior to releasing decisions, that means judgement shall be concluding tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. D:

@sweetcookie apes at my school is hard! the content isn’t hard, but getting an A is just not an option for anyone in the class. AHH. test on tuesday :(

That’s why I don’t like it when people label a particular AP easy or hard, because classes differ in their difficulty. The exam may be standardized, but choosing an apparently easy AP in your schedule doesn’t automatically make you a slacker.

Yeah^ In my school, AP Gov is probably the easiest and most fun class that I’ve ever taken. :)

AP Psychology was both fun and challenging for us. We had to fit a lot of material within like two months for the exam.

APES is my lowest grade. It’s the first time our school has offered it, so I thought it would be easy. It’s actually really hard to get an A, thought the material is easy.

I took APES last year, and although I loved the content, the class was imPOSSIBLE.

Our school doesn’t offer APES… :frowning: And yet, we have an AP Art course!

My school didn’t offer it either. To graduate, I needed to take either APES online or honors earth science with a room full of freshmen. Glad I escaped from social torture.

@accordingtome YES that is exactly what i’m getting now. i have all A’s but a B in APES. :(

Apus was awful last year, but AP Latin and Ap Calc aren’t too bad. Ap latin test tomorrow!

@sweetcookie- That is a bizarre graduation requirement.

@sweetcookie
try search “mr frazier’s apes” on google, I used that to review some last year for apes. Well Apes got really hardcore last year, but it was still a great learning experience for me. My teacher was super legit, but still nice, too since he apparently helped to redesign the AP exam.

I changed schools three times. I’m used to bizarre graduation requirements especially tailored to my situation.

@acceptmealready, We are in the same boat. I really hope I don’t get my first B in an “easy” AP class.

Does everyone in the country have to take health to graduate?

… who says Apes is easy? I’m confused…

It’s just considered an easy AP class, like human geography. It’s considered easy to get a 5, unlike AP Chem or Physics.
