<p>Alright what’s a college you guys severely dislike/would never apply to? And why? (NOTE to anyone who’s applied to another school and is stalking this thread because of its sheer awesomeness: no offense to you guys)</p>
<p>To start off - I’ll have to go with Harvard. Just because of the sheer obsession associated with that school for like no reason at all other than the name. Like is there ONE distinctive feature at Harvard that anyone can tell me about right off the bat other than the name and ranking? No offense again, I just never understood the hype behind Harvard and it bugs me sometimes when people are like “Oh Penn? Cool I guess, but it’s no HARVARD.” And then I go “okay well what’s so great about Harvard” and they like laugh and go “IT’S HARVARD whatswrongwithyou” and I feel like punching something</p>
<p>@aangel, Harvard has the biggest endowment for a college.</p>
<p>I don’t know whether I will get into Penn or not, but whatever college I go to, I am thinking about making a College Confidential “_______” University Club. Just spitballin’ ideas.</p>

<p>@free2rhyme Sorry dude, it took me a while to realize that you were talking to yourself. I need to finish it too. I know that if I don’t do it before decisions, I’m going to be very bitter and will write bad essays.</p>
<p>@mwrecks94, no its cool, it was more of a joke. That’s EXACTLY what I am expecting. Rather than focusing on the prompts and how to write my answers, I will be thinking where did I go wrong with the Penn application, why the heck did EmPaige get accepted and not me, what am i lacking, and all those questions.</p>

<p>@aangel, Not really. Its the oldest college, so it makes sense, it sort of has the largest endowments in the country.</p>

<p>@xAlex452: you do know that sometimes the SAT people let you get a 900 on a section if they feel you deserve it but might have screwed up accidentally on test day? It’s INCREDIBLY rare but I’ve heard it’s happened before! (especially to people who have taken the SAT more than 10 times)</p>

<p>blood type??? haha sorry if im a bit late on that, but blood type? i have no idea. as for colleges i dislike, the only college i disliked instantly was Vassar…i’m not quite sure why, it was just a feeling i got when i was on campus.</p>

<p>Oh really, why? I’ve heard from many people that Vassar is a good choice for a safety school but since I’ve never visited, I was slightly skeptical about that when I heard it. Did you not like it because the campus was bad? Although I guess after visiting Penn, ANY campus would pale in comparison. Which is why I’m surprised so many of us are applying to Columbia (myself included) since a majority of the people who are die-hard Penn fans hate the Columbia campus!</p>

<p>I guess it was just because I hated the architecture, the people in town told me they hated the vassar students…the info session was kind of bad. all in all it just didn’t seem like a good fit for me.</p>
