<p>lol ill let everyone know about my northwestern decision though I certainly don’t have the stats for people to say duh ! no wonder he got in. </p>

<p>I’ve also already been accepted at the University of Michigan (which was my second choice). I had a good feeling that I would be accepted at Michigan when I originally applied, but I didn’t trust that feeling enough to not apply to a true safety.</p>
<p>If it makes you feel any better, I don’t have the “pst, I knew she’d get in with those stats” either. My stats are about where NU wants them, but they’re not stand out stats for them. They’re probably actually average for a school like Northwestern (namely, the ACT score which I was slightly disappointed in).</p>
<p>I will definitely check once every evening starting tomorrow.</p>
<p>absolutely nomad… my safety is PSU, and if I get stuck in the middle of Pennsylvania farmland for the next 4 years I don’t know what I’ll do with myself. Northwestern & NYU are the only schools I’ve EVER wanted to go to, and their locations are obviously a bit different from PSU’s… I’ve been banking on the fact that I’d get into and then get decent fin. aid for one of these schools for a LONGGGG time.</p>
<p>For the record, you’ll all be hearing my admission decision and then all subsequent rants and raves as soon as I know… wow, what are we going to talk about when this is all over?</p>

<p>Just thinking about looking at the site scares me. But, I know that the anticipation will get to me and I will ultimately end up looking. This waiting thing is no fun :)</p>

but don’t burst my bubble 
so i still hope i get into nu cuz it’s my first choice now but at least i won’t be as panicked about the whole thing because i know i have another good school on my list :)</p>

<p>thank you so much my whole family was so worried about me cuz i got deferred ED from duke and then rejected (blah) from swarthmore ED 2…plus i didn’t apply to any real safeties, just one i was pretty confident about getting accepted to…my mom is going to nursing school now at the community college and my dad told me “looks like you have to go to college with her” since i hadn’t been accepted anywhere yet and we were all really worried!! but now my self-esteem has been restored and my parents are relieved beyond words ;)</p>
