Why are working high schoolers punished with finaid?

i don’t think student contribution is fair, but i don’t think that someone’s lazy because they don’t have a job. I don’t have a job, but i certainly wouldn’t call myself lazy. My parents actually strongly discourage me from getting a job because they think i have enough to do as is.

I agree, some of my friends dont have a job because their application keeps getting “lost,” and my parents have also discouraged me from getting a job.</p>
