<p>Our D went to a fantastic private for 8 years and simply wanted a change. We fought it, and ending up keeping her home Freshman year, but allowed her to go her Sophomore year. I have absolutely no regrets, as she has blossomed more than I would ever dream…involvement, grades, relationships, maturity, independence…it is wonderful. Missing her is the hardest part and she has no idea how many tears I shed. I envy her lifelong friends’ parents who are enjoying every minute of the senior year experience, and we have missed much of that, but I still would not trade it for anything. We talk almost every day and breaks and summer are something next to perfect…with BOTH sides having more appreciation for each other and the luxuries of home!</p>
