Complete hogwash. Gay men wouldn’t want to sleep with Brad Pitt, Mark Wahlberg, or Tom Cruise? RIIIIIIIGHT. Hell most straight guys would rather sleep with Tom Cruise than some of the women out there. </p>
<p>The thing is not that they assume that gays are wanting to sleep with them, its just that gay guys are de facto cockblockers. They are friends with usually only girls, and give unrealistic advice to them on how guys should dress and act, stealing straight guys time from women. Also, gay guys have nothing in common with straight guys. Gay guys want to watch America’s Next Top Model, dress in rainbow and pink, drink sex on the beaches, and talk about celebrities and everything on Extra and the E! channel. They never play golf, drink beer, watch ESPN, or hang up dry wall; things that straight guys do.</p>
<p>There are gay guys out there who are less masculine than straight men, but that is quite a generalization. I have plenty of friends who are much straighter acting than a lot of heterosexual men out there. One of my best friends loves beer and sports, is in a fraternity, and he is GAY. </p>
<p>Sexuality is not something cut and dry. I’m sick of hearing people act as if being gay means that you have to conform to one specific stereotype. Being gay simply means that you are attracted to the same sex. That’s all. There are vast spectrums of masculinity and femininity for both gay males and females. </p>
<p>People who are most insecure with their own sexualities tend to be the most homophobic. I know that is somewhat of a cliche, but based on personal experience with gay friends, it is absolutely true.</p>
