<p>I bought a bunch of shirts at The Custom Shop in my early 20s - they take your measurements and make the shirts. It was that or looking for European-fit shirts or going to Asia to get shirts made. Yes, it is hard to find stuff for a small waist and big chest/shoulders in the US. Even the Adidas/Nike brands are more cut for Americans.</p>

<p>It was a new job in a new environment. I was used to the consulting world. Quite a change - it was like working with college students in cubicles.</p>
<p>My Ds BF is from the south, & he used to dress much more formally than others in his engineering field.
He seems to have gotten the Portland quasi hipstery look down now though. ;)</p>
