Why do people sleep on beds?

<p>The normality of the use of beds depends on many factors including, but not limited to, upbringing, personality, traditions, and the people’s willingness to even sleep in them.</p>

<p>I’m sleeping in a futon right now. Have been for this school year. I’ve had no problems with my back. I guess the ONLY problem is that I often roll on my arm and when I wake up, it hurts…</p>

<p>But that’s only cause I have books all around me so I’m sleeping in a tight area.</p>

<p>Those suckers LOVE futon. I’ll gladly trade back pain for mukade free sleep. The first time I woke up with one crawling on me in my futon, I decided to stick with a Western-style bed.</p>
