Why do professors scale marks and raise the marks of students that don't deserve it?

<p>Your entire argument is based on the assumption that professors are infallible creatures and they can’t make an error in judgement as far as how they create tests or that they are perfect lecturers/communicators.</p>

I was using the definition that Majjestic seems to use and many other people today use for “liberal arts,” which to them is anything but the STEM subjects.</p>
