CC has gotten too big. With over 300,000 registered posters (though not all active), it’s much, much larger than it used to be. There were about 20,000 registered posters when I was going through the application process, and the old forum had much fewer even than that.</p>
<p>CC has been getting more impersonal and less quirky for some time now.</p>
