<p>I have a copy of DDB’s essay, and I would just put in in this thread, but I’m not sure if she’d want to publicly displayed or not. I have a feeling DDB’s checked out.</p>
<p>yeah, I was thinking that earlier too. I don’t think I’d mind having my own essay published, but others might be concerned. I haven’t seen her around lately - can anyone verify if she’s sent out her essay recently?</p>
<p>To be honest though, I’m not sure her essay will be of much help. It’s not something that you can really replicate her style. My advice is to just write about some specific program that caught your eye and how it attracted you to Emory. Personally, I wrote about Emory’s NBB program, the student-run EMS service, and Volunteer Emory. Nothing fancy, but it worked.</p>

I wrote it like the night before and it was all about how emory fit me
and how the weird things about emory are the things I like best
…like tibetan monks. that just tickles me inside too.</p>
