<p>True, if by “historically” you mean for one year (Illinois), two years (Michigan), or three (Berkeley) in the early 1980s. For the rest of the 80s and 90s, Berkeley was in the teens and 20s (where it is today), Michigan mostly in the 20s (where it is today), and Illinois mostly in the 30s and 40s (where it is today). HYP were in the top 5 way back then, and still are today. Stanford and MIT were in or slightly out of the top 5 through the 80s and 90s.</p>
