<p>Perhaps. If you looked at casualties on a per capita basis, USMC might have more. IDK if anyone could respond for sure. I’d suspect it’s a combination of factors …career options, location, training differentials, uniforms (silly as it may sound), Army-Navy football visibility and outcomes (at least recently), etc.</p>
<p>One I’ve wondered about is parental push, and what I wonder …Do more Army veteran parents guide, perhaps allow or encourage exploring USNA than Navy vet parents push children to consider USMA. I’ve my own theory on this, but who knows. Certainly not me.</p>
