Why is Northwestern Under-rated?

You can take comfort in that it’s ranked much higher than two Ivies - Brown (55th) and Dartmouth (99th).

Brown and Dartmouth are ranked low because in Brown’s case it doesn’t have the breadth of a University (e.g., law and business schools), while Dartmouth is ranked low because it is really a college. It is “Dartmouth College.”

<p>You realize that these two examples are at odds with one another, since Dartmouth does in fact have business and medical schools? And Brown lacks those, but also has robust Medical and other graduate schools, while still being focused on undergraduate education? Their rankings are low because they do not perform well on the metrics those (silly) rankings measure. NU does better than them. Equivocate all you want but you’re being silly.

As far a Northwestern “crushing” Duke, please . . . .
