Are you also seeing ads for random hotels, colleges, pooper scoopers and test prep in the margins of your screen? Why aren’t those featured?

@myjanda Classic example being a thread I saw posted today: “Can a C ruin my chances of getting into an Ivy Legue school?” (The student is a 8th grader.)

I wanted to comment on the “Legue” but the kid spelled it properly later on in the thread, so I let it pass.

Honestly, to me, most of them! Haha. I guess that is why I have so few posts for being on CC eight years. Although I am still on CC for eight years. So I guess that says something!

How about redundant threads? Isn’t this thread similar to “Most annoying threads?”

Regarding Post #25 (the banana slicer) –

In that link on Amazon, go the questions that people have asked. They are hysterical!! Examples:

I only speak Spanish. Will it work on plantanos?

Is there a metric version? My mom lives in Europe and I don’t want to send her one that won’t work in her country.

Is it possible to get a motorized version of this ground-breaking product?

OP here: In answer to Morrismm in post #25, I’d like to say I don’t see this as “most annoying threads”–I had nothing against the threads that people were complaining about. I thought they were perfectly fine threads.

I was trying to come up with TRULY non-discussable thread topics. I really don’t want to complain about any actual threads. :slight_smile:

I mean, I get that threads take on a life of their own once they’re out there, but there is already a complaint thread–I see t his as a parody thread. (she said, heavy-handedly.)
