<p>I’d like to know if this was the previous Cornell tennis coach that was there for 1 year (UVA to Cornell to Wake Forest) or another coach? I don’t blame the school, I blame the coach in your example. This is a one-off incident not a systemic thing, and I don’t think you can now say the whole school is “sleazy”. Seriously? That is ridiculous.</p>
<p>BTW - This is not the only “scandal” I’ve heard in recent ivy sports. You don’t have to look very far back to find cases here and there, but overall I think the schools manage themselves and the process very well. Should there be more oversight? I don’t think so.</p>
