my son’s top choice school offers free tuition for NMSF. obviously, he will accept that offer and go there (he’s already been admitted). is he still eligible for the $2500?

@border1218 Well, yes, you only get one but the free tuition is separate from the above choices.
Even those who get the Benaquisto in Florida will get either the NMSC $2500 or the college (usual) $2000. The college will tell you that if you get the $2500 to accept it. They will still be able to offer you their full tuition or full ride or whatever. That is separate.

Have awardees been notified yet this year? 2020. My daughter is a finalist and has not heard about any award except from schools too far away.
