Why so few postings RE: Bryn Mawr?

The English program here is very good, and is definitely quite popular. The education department (which is shared with Haverford) is amazing, as well. You cannot directly major in education at Bryn Mawr, that’s true – but the ideology behind that is that a teacher should have a degree in the subject he/she is planning to teach, not just in education in general. The minor program is more flexible than the certification program in some ways, but both are certainly doable with the English/history major programs, and are very good preparation for going into teaching after college.

So, let me know if you have any specific questions about any of that and I can try to help you out, or at least help point you in the right direction for answers. :)
