Why take the ACT if already took the SAT

SAT tutor here.

  1. Just bc the average is 1450 doesn’t mean you should only shoot for the average. Higher is better. Higher will raise chances of admission.
  2. The tutor has more first hand knowledge of the situation than any of us. Maybe she sees something you don’t.
  3. It can’t hurt to take the ACT, aside from the relatively insignificant fee.
  4. Your tutoring setup sounds off. For tutoring to be effective it needs to be on a regular basis.
