<p>We have two kids @ V. A 4th year and a 1st year. I was in Nashville on buz last week and had dinner with them. Part of their conversation dealt with how many visitors - HS seniors w/parents have been there on campus tours this year. 4th year student said something to the effect that over the past 3+ years of being @ V, that the number of visitors looking at the campus seemed to have “doubled”. 1st year student said that on MLK Holiday (Jan 19th) that there were a number of “traffic jams” on the walk-ways/sidewalks due to all of the visitors. 1st year student said that on MLK Day, that he had 2 hours between classes and he normally would have walked from the main campus back to The Commons to eat/study but due to the “heavy traffic” on the bridge over 21st Street he just went to Rand. 4th year seems to think that many more kids are looking @ V due to theie new “no-loan” plan.</p>
