<p>I know this was true when I took the SAT/ACT for college, but there is some stigma associated with someone who takes the SAT or ACT more than 3 times. Two is acceptable because maybe you needed to pull your score up (I did it!), but at 3, the schools may start wondering why you have to test so much, and 4 will probably be considered ridiculous.</p>
<p>So, just FYI, don’t keep taking the tests nilly willy, study effectively, and know that you need to do well your next time around (also because you have time constraints of applying before deadlines etc.)</p>
